STEP ONE: UNINSTALL PRIOR ONLINE IMAGES PROGRAM

Prior to downloading the new system, please take the following action:

• 1. Click on your Start Menu
• 2. Go to Control Panel
• 3. Find Add/Remove Programs
• 4. Locate Cedara I-Reach 2D and 3D components and click Remove

This will successfully uninstall our prior image viewing system.

*NOTE: You may need to adjust your Trusted Sites security settings.

To add MD Imaging's website, take the following action:

• 1. Open your Internet Browser
• 2. Choose Tools
• 3. Internet Options
• 4. Click on the Security Tab
• 5. Click on the Green Check Mark labeled Trusted Sites
• 6. Click on the button that appears labeled "Sites"
• 7. Go to "add this website to the zone" and enter *.mdimaging.net
• 8. Uncheck the "require server verification for all sites in this zone" box

STEP TWO: DOWNLOAD THE NEW SYSTEM

Click on the following link to access our New Online Images System.

Download the system by following the system prompts.

• 1. Click on the Login Button; this will load the system (Note: This download will only happen the first time you log in)
• 2. Please note that your computer might ask for Active X Controls to be installed to work properly. This prompt would be found directly below the address bar, highlighted in yellow. Follow the prompts accordingly.

STEP THREE: LOG IN WITH YOUR TEMPORARY PASSWORD

Log into the CareStream PACS system by using your temporary Username and Temporary Password that has already been provided for you via fax OR by simply logging into the Online Patient Scheduling (OPS) System. If you are in need of your temporary Username and Password, please contact the Marketing Department at MD Imaging at 243.1249.

STEP FOUR: CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD

When you first log into Carestream PACS, you will be prompted to again enter your temporary Username and Temporary password and then change your password to your desired log in information to stay within HIPAA compliance regulations. Once the password is changed, close the change password and window log in with your new password information on main log in window.

STEP FIVE: SETTING THE SEARCH PAGE

You will need to select the "cspacs folder" (the last option) on the left side of the screen. It will open up so to look like the example below. You will then need to right click on "search" and select "set as home" Then each time you log in, it will take you directly to the search screen which looks like the main portion of the screen below.

STEP SIX: SEARCH FOR PATIENT

Using the Patient Name Box, type the Last Name,First Name (using no spaces); example: Doe,John - to search for your patient. A list will appear and you can double click on the specified patient name. Should like names appear, you can verify the patient by their date of birth. Upon double clicking, you will directly open the patient films and be able to search within the image series.
